Welcome to my Wife, Dina Haggenjos!
I wanted to give her a chance to highlight a few of her offerings and resources. Next month, we’ll have a video together where she’ll share more of what’s in store for Free Well!
From Dina:
Hello friends! How neat (and sort of surreal) to be on Pete’s newsletter in this capacity. I have always been passionate about my health and wellness but I found myself at a crossroads when I just wasn’t feeling well or healthy. Just because I knew what wellness was did not mean I felt it (you can read more about that journey here and how I went from there to health coaching).
My mission with Free Well is to get women curious about themselves and create a wellness that was made for them. I want to take you from feeling like “there’s my life, and there’s my wellness” to “the way I’m living my life is my wellness.”
What does it come down to? It comes down to making sure the things that make your life uniquely yours, are considered and intersect with your creativity, your free will, and your wellness. I have 4 key principles that guide how I work with clients (think of these as my approach) integrative health and nutrition, empathy, creativity, and autonomy. It is through this approach that I help women tackle their goals, reduce stress and anxiety, enjoy their pregnancy, and create their (new) postpartum reality, and just get to actually feeling well!
So whether you are wanting to tackle some health goals, have doctor’s orders you need help on achieving, pregnant, or have a new baby in arms – OR like me, just want to actually feel well – these principles help us customize a wellness plan for you!
I work with clients both in-person and virtually and offer a variety of packages which you can read more about here. I also offer a free 15-minute phone consult to see if we’re the right fit for each other and address questions you might have.
Here’s a quick highlight of my offerings:

Chiropractic Care for Pregnant Women
Many of you know we help many pregnant women at the office! This PDF we created details many of the benefits for prenatal chiropractic. Some recent research also supports our efforts:
- The Use of the Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System and the RAND VSQ9 to Measure the Quality of Life and Visit-Specific Satisfaction of Pregnant Patients Under Chiropractic Care Utilizing the Webster Technique
- 343 pregnant women in the study. There was a reduction in scores associated with fatigue, pain, sleep disturbance, and an improvement in satisfaction with social roles.
- Outcomes of pregnant patients with low back pain undergoing chiropractic treatment: a prospective cohort study with short term, medium term and 1 year follow-up
- 52% of 115 recruited patients ‘improved’ at 1 week, 70% at 1 month, 85% at 3 months, 90% at 6 months and 88% at 1 year. There were significant reductions in NRS and Oswestry scores.
- A randomized controlled trial comparing a multimodal intervention and standard obstetrics care for low back and pelvic pain in pregnancy
- Examined whether a multimodal approach of musculoskeletal and obstetric management (MOM) was superior to standard obstetric care to reduce pain, impairment, and disability. Both groups received routine obstetric care. Chiropractic specialists provided manual therapy, stabilization exercises, and patient education to MOM participants. Results showed a multimodal approach to low back and pelvic pain in mid pregnancy benefits patients more than standard obstetric care.
Awesome T Cells and Good News on the CoronaVirus
This article has very promising details about our T Cells and how people may have strong, protective immune responses from this segment of our immune system, aside from any antibody activity.
